Instructions: You need two parts. First download the magazine PDF in all it’s pages which has everything except the backpage, of which you will secondly need to edit the imprint at the bottom separately.
Files Needed
- A4 Magazine PDF documents has everything except the backpage – Download it
- The backpage GIMP template file to edit the imprint of – Download it
Once you have edited the imprint on the backpage export it back into a PDF file. Then you can either put the two files back together using this free tool here, or you can just print these two documents seperately for the use of each magazine.
Then you can staple each magazine copy together or use printing companies like Mixam (don’t forget to upload both files!) who will bind them for you.
How to do the Imprints
Once you have opened them you have to follow the legal guidelines for placing imprints on political material, so once opened you edit those imprints on the back and down the very bottom where it is indicated to with “edit” names and addresses in bold. You can unbolden those parts in bold once you have edited that correctly. Now make sure the format of the imprint is as follows:
Printed by printing companies business name and full address. Promoted By full name and address of yourself on behalf of the Branch/Constituency Name No Corruption Alliance, address
Once you have done this save the file in GIMP, then export a version as a PDF file. If you were to use Solopress as the company to print, their address has to be included as the printers on the imprints like so:
